Plot
The daily routine of Francine began to approach her as the family complained about the dinner prepared with the wrong vegetables (okra). He imagines himself killing the family in retaliation; after Francine threatened them, they agreed to eat dinner. Roger warned the family that he would have a bad reaction to okra but ate it at Stan's insistence. He farted lethal gas in the middle of the night, prompting the family to leave their residence and stay at the hotel for a week. Finding that he never took the time to connect with himself, Francine decided to spend the day assuming the identity of a recently deceased salesman, Sarah Blanch. At the convention at the hotel, Francine became increasingly impressed with the exciting life she had made for Sarah and fully assumed her identity, demonstrating the business skills that placed her as a CEO in Portland, Oregon. Francine decided to surrender her previous life and family to pursue a new life as Sarah.
Meanwhile, at the hotel, Steve became interested in Patrick Nagel's painting of a woman and officer, HÃÆ'Ã… © ctor Elizondo, explaining that the portrait was painted in 1981 at the hotel. Steve is disappointed that he can not meet the woman in the portrait, but HÃÆ'Ã… © ctor tells him that if he uses the power of his mind, he can travel back in time to meet his dream girl. He managed to travel through time and meet with Nagel. However, Nagel wore his champagne. He woke up naked in bed and saw the painting of the woman. Nagel explains that he painted Steve, revealing that Steve himself is the woman in the painting and surprises bringing it back to his own time. The officer then asked Steve whether the woman in the painting was him (Steve). Steve then asks how he knows and the stewardess reveals that he once fell in love, a painting of her as a woman was then shown.
Ten years into the future, after accepting the CEO position, Francine is a successful but lonely old woman. On the way to another convention, he visits his old house and sees that Stan and Steve have continued their life (Stan marries another woman). He returns to the hotel for another convention and confesses to HÃÆ'Â © ctor that he regrets his decision to change his life and leave his family. HÃÆ'Ã… © ctor tells him that with the power of his mind he can also travel back in time and stop himself. He did it and arrived in the present, telling Francine-this time not to accept the job and convince him to stay with his current life with his family. Francine returned to her life as usual, but decided to make every Thursday her personal day away from her usual routine.

The episode rating dropped significantly from the previous episode.
The "Fart-Break Hotel" was met with mixed responses from most television critics. Rowan Kaiser from The A.V. The Club writes, "There are some conceptual jokes that inspire a smile, such as a magical concierge, a Platonist, and some good lines but not far beyond that to save a weary premise." However, Kaiser made some positive comments on the episode opening scene. He went on to give episode C, scored lower than the Flaming Moe episode "The Simpsons", tying in with the The Cleveland Show episode "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Roberta?", And Bob's Burgers episode "Space Crawl", while printing higher than episode of Family Guy "And I'm Joyce Kinney". Jason Hughes from TV Squad also gave a slightly more positive review, continuing by complimenting side stories. He wrote, "The side story featuring Steve's journey back to 1981 is clever, if not too original. It seems to have elements of Hot Tub Time Machine and Back to the Future and maybe some of the others I do not remember, and culminate in the anticlimax of Steve being the model in the paintings he greatly admired. "However, he is more critical of the main plot, writes," The trip of Francine is also not very unique, and again strange to see Roger stands out as a voice of reason. It's like all the elements that make the Smith family they exchanged, and the show is not made better for it.
