Jasc Software, Inc. is a Eden Prairie, Minnesota based company founded by Robert Voit, creator of Paint Shop Pro, a popular graphics editing program. Jasc Software also makes other popular software titles, including:

- Media Plus Center
- Webdraw
- After Shot (later released as a Photo Album)
On October 14, 2004, Corel Corporation announced the acquisition of Jasc Software, Inc. on the day of the announcement, with the acquisition expected to close in late October 2004. Under the acquisition, Corel will retain the Jasc facility previously in Minneapolis, Minnesota. for the Paint Shop family. Amish Mehta will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Corel Corporation, and some members of Jasc's senior management team will join Corel. At the close of the deal, Jasc Software, Inc. has 120 employees, with revenues of more than $ 30 million.
On November 28, 2007, Corel announced the closure of its Minneapolis office. This effectively ended the formation of Jasc software before. While some positions remain in the Minneapolis area, most operations are moved to other Corel offices.
"Jasc" is derived from the acronym J.A.S.C. (Other Software Companies only). The founder Robert Voit needed a name to protect his assets legally, but by that time he had not decided to go to the company so he came up with the name tongue-in-cheek. Then when the company took off, he realized that it was not the best connotation for a company to have so he openly "converted" the acronym to "Jets and Software Company" because he was a commercial airline pilot before starting a software company.

Robert Voit
Robert Voit (of St. Cloud, Minnesota) is the founder of Jasc Software. He had a computer science degree in the field of aviation, completed in 1983. He originally worked as a DC-9 pilot and later founded the software company Jasc, which in 1991 produced Paint Shop Pro.
