Plot

In London, British mafia boss Lenny Cole (Tom Wilkinson) organizes a burgeoning real estate business using a corrupt Counselor (Jimi Mistry) for bureaucratic service and his minions Archy (Mark Strong) for dirty work. A Russian businessman billionaire, Uri Omovich (Karel Roden), plans a crooked land deal, and London criminals all want it. Other key players include accountants under the hands of Stella (Thandie Newton) and the ambitious One-Two small pusher (Gerard Butler) leads a group called "Wild Bunch" which includes Mumbles (Idris Elba) and Bob Handsome (Tom Hardy).

Lenny sued Uri EUR7,000,000 for a crooked deal; Uri has a Stella accountant moving funds. Uri lends her painting of luck to Lenny as a sign of friendship. Stella, however, doubled Uri and tips from Wild Bunch to steal money, while the painting was stolen from Lenny's wall by the junkie rocker stepson Johnny Quid (Toby Kebbell), who faked his own death. Lenny and Archy forced former managers, Mickey (Chris "Ludacris" Bridges) and Roman (Jeremy Piven) to track down Johnny. The handsome Bob is also close to gay husband Stella, a lawyer who has information about the incognito informant that is prevalent in his criminal circle.

After Uri's money was stolen by the Wild Bunch for the second time, her assistant Victor began to suspect that Lenny had stolen money and deliberately kept Uri's paintings from her. Uri eventually grows impatient from Lenny and lures him to a private golf game where Victor breaks his legs in remembrance to return his lucky drawing without delay.

Cookie (Matt King) happened to buy the painting from some crackheads who had just stolen it from Johnny's hideout. Cookie then gave the painting to One-Two who, in turn, offered the painting to Stella (after a sexual encounter) as a token of appreciation. After Stella leaves her flat, One-Two is shocked by Uri's accomplices but rescued, and then kidnapped, by Archy and his men who come looking for Uri's money.

Uri wants to marry Stella, whom she has long admired. He goes to Stella's house to propose, but he then sees the painting. Stella lies and says that she has been through it for years. Uri, angry at Stella's betrayal, ordered Victor to kill her.

Archy took Johnny, Roman, Mickey, and Wild Bunch to Lenny's warehouse where Lenny ordered Johnny to be executed. He threatens to kill the Wild Bunch "very slowly" unless they hand over the money they stole. The handsome Bob offered legal documents about the informer in his pocket for Archy. Archy recognizes the pseudonym used on the document, "Sidney Shaw", as Lenny's. Lenny arranges with the police to routinely lock many criminal associates (including Archy) for years at a time to improve his own position in the criminal world and to ensure his own freedom. Archy ordered the Lenny men to free the Wild Bunch and have Lenny drowned and fed to the crayfish.

In the elevator, Johnny explains to Roman and Mickey that they will also be killed not to leave witnesses, and graphically explain their execution. His portrayal ruled out the man who executed the three men, prompting him to act before his time. After also anticipating this move, Johnny warned Mickey and Roman to intervene and kill their would-be executioner. Johnny shot two more people waiting at the top of the elevator and they fled from Archy's last army (with help from Wild Bunch).

Later, Archy took Johnny from rehab and gave Johnny Uri a fortune painting as a welcome gift. Archy says that getting the painting "sacrificed Russia's very rich arms and legs" implies he has killed Uri. Johnny states that, with his newfound freedom from his addiction and stepfather, he will do what he can not do before: "to be the real RocknRolla".

It sits there and we all want to do it, it's just a matter of when we'll adjust it. So we will wait and see. "He also mentioned that as long as Warner Bros continues to cast it" big movies like the Sherlock Holmes and The Man from UNCLE , then it probably will not happen soon. "
